Job Overview:
We are hiring for a temporary (4-6 months) Compensation`Analyst. The Compensation Analyst administers and implements employer compensation programs, provides analysis, and supports initiatives related to pay and performance management programs. Evaluates jobs, determines pay grades, participates in compensation surveys, and performs associated analyses. Ensures that compensation related requests comply with current compensation policy and support compensation strategy.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes compensationrelated databases and systems that support compensation programs throughout the organization.
- Maintains and updates market pricing and salary survey software.
- Assists with data collection and submission of external compensation benchmarking surveys.
- Performs audits of employee, position, and job data in HRIS. Makes corrections and updates as necessary.
- Completes ad hoc market pricing requests from HR teams.
- Provides guidance on compensation policies, pay decisions, and wage and hour regulations.
- Supports the administration of annual merit and bonus cycles.
- Supports training of leaders and HR teams on compensation fundamentals and systems.
- Assists leaders and HR teams in writing job descriptions.
- Ensures compensation pay plans are compliant with federal/state wage and hour regulations.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in compensation program administration and related analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Healthcare related experience with compensation programs
- Familiarity with CompAnalyst market pricing software
- Familiarity with PeopleFluent talent management platform
- Familiarity with Lawson and/or Workday
