About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Engineering & Solutions to lead strategic engineering and solution initiatives for airline customers. This role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, architecture design, and team development within a global, agile environment.

In this role, you'll

• Lead end-to-end solution design and engineering delivery for complex airline and travel technology systems.
• Collaborate with product, security, architecture, and operations teams to ensure effective project outcomes.
• Guide technical teams through development, testing, and delivery with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability.
• Foster an environment of learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Oversee architecture design reviews and alignment with enterprise-level technology standards.
• Promote modern engineering practices such as Cloud, Microservices, DevOps, and Security by Design.
• Encourage continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration across global sites.
• Represent engineering and solution design topics in company forums and knowledge networks.

Your Profile

• Typically 12+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership, including team management.
• Proven experience building and leading technology teams with a collaborative leadership style.
• Proficiency in Java full stack development, including microservices, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical technology solutions.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and continuous delivery practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in the travel or related technology domain (e.g., reservations, retail, customer experience) is an advantage.
