Location: US Remote

General Description:

The Senior Director, Corporate Communications is a senior leader within the Corporate Brand & Reputation team responsible for setting BeOne’s global corporate communications strategy and using communications to build corporate brand equity, strengthen reputation, increase visibility, and deepen stakeholder understanding and trust globally.

Operating with a global and enterprise mindset, this leader translates BeOne’s business strategy, scientific leadership, and corporate priorities into an integrated communications agenda that is globally coherent, locally relevant, and designed to strengthen BeOne’s long-term brand and reputation. The role serves as steward of BeOne’s corporate narrative, identity, and messaging; leads enterprise thought leadership, executive visibility, and brand-building campaigns; directs communications for business development, acquisitions, and strategic alliances; and advances BeOne’s approach to emerging information ecosystems, including large language models, AI-enabled search, and generative engine optimization.

The position partners closely with Media Relations, Product & Pipeline Communications, regional teams, and enterprise functions to ensure corporate, executive, scientific, franchise, regional, and earned-media activities reinforce a consistent global narrative.

Essential Function:

Global Communications Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and lead an integrated, measurable global corporate communications strategy that advances enterprise objectives and builds brand visibility, differentiation, reputation, and stakeholder trust.
  • Translate business priorities into an annual communications plan with clear audiences, objectives, strategies, responsibilities, budgets, and measures.
  • Set global direction while incorporating regional priorities, market dynamics, cultural context, and stakeholder insights.
  • Create mechanisms for regional and functional teams to inform global strategy, share intelligence, and adapt enterprise programs for local markets.
  • Serve as a senior communications counselor to Corporate Affairs and business leaders on positioning, visibility priorities, and communications tradeoffs.
  • Evaluate emerging social and digital platforms, including LLMs, and recommend where BeOne should engage, test, or adapt its approach.

Corporate Narrative & Brand Identity

  • Own the development, evolution, and activation of BeOne’s corporate narrative and strategic storylines across corporate, scientific, leadership, culture, access, and patient-impact topics.
  • Serve as a senior steward of corporate identity, messaging architecture, external voice, and communications standards.
  • Partner across communications and regional teams to ensure narrative consistency across channels.
  • Use brand and reputation research and stakeholder insight to identify perception gaps and opportunities.
  • Oversee corporate messaging frameworks, narrative guidance, toolkits, and foundational content, including walking decks, brochures, factsheets, press releases, and Q&A materials.
  • Improve the availability, discoverability, and consistency of authoritative information about BeOne.

Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility

  • Define and oversee the enterprise thought leadership strategy, including priority themes, audiences, leaders, and activation plans.
  • Create differentiated leadership platforms for priority executives using content, social media, speaking, and earned media.
  • Ensure executive visibility reinforces BeOne’s corporate narrative rather than creating disconnected individual profiles.
  • Coordinate thought leadership across functions, franchises, and regions and partner with Media Relations on external opportunities.
  • Counsel senior executives on positioning, platform choices, and visibility priorities.
  • Measure the quality, consistency, and impact of executive visibility programs and refine strategies over time.

Brand-Building Campaigns

  • Lead integrated global corporate brand campaigns that increase awareness, understanding, affinity, and trust.
  • Develop insight-led campaign strategies with clear global and regional roles and appropriate local adaptation.
  • Use brand and reputation data to optimize performance, demonstrate impact, and inform future investment.

Business Development Communications

  • Lead communications for key business development transactions, acquisitions, alliances, and partnerships.
  • Partner with Business Development, Legal, Investor Relations, R&D, executive leadership, and regional teams on strategy, sequencing, approvals, and execution.
  • Partner with Media Relations on earned-media strategy and external engagement related to transactions and partnerships.

Enterprise Leadership & Measurement

  • Connect communications decisions to BeOne’s corporate brand, reputation, stakeholder trust, and long-term growth.
  • Build trusted relationships across Corporate Affairs and with Business Development, R&D, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal, Investor Relations, Human Resources, and other functions.
  • Anticipate and mitigate reputational risks and help leaders communicate with clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • Use research, performance data, and external insight to guide strategy, prioritize resources, and improve programs.
  • Manage budgets, agencies, and vendors with discipline and demonstrate value.

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:
