ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. - Printing, processing and matching invoices
- Keying payments and journal entries into SAP system
- Calculating and verifying accuracy of vendor transactions
- Resolving A/P issues with vendors and internal staff
- Maintain and update vendor records
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or college student pursuing accounting/finance program.
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good computer skills, including data entry, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Introductory-level accounting courses are an asset
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Accuracy of work
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents and statutes from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure and policy manuals, contracts and agreements.
Ability to write instructions, procedures, policies, reports and various correspondences.
Ability to speak and present effectively in one-on-one, and in small and large group settings, as well as before customers, government and regulatory agencies
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamental accounting spreadsheets. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide summaries and comparisons
