Description
We are looking for a student to join our team as an Accounting Intern (Umowa Zlecenie). Ideally, the successful candidate will be in their fourth or fifth year of study and willing to work an average of 30 hours per week. Around 40% of the work should be carried out in the office; the remainder can be done remotely.
Your responsibilities:
Support the Accounting team in daily operational activities, including document processing, vendor account maintenance, and handling incoming requests through shared mailboxes.
Assist in maintaining and updating process documentation, work instructions, and team knowledge repositories to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Collect, prepare, and organize data for reports, dashboards, KPI tracking, and other management information needs.
Prepare materials for meetings and support the team by taking notes, documenting actions, and following up on agreed next steps.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by gathering data, supporting process reviews, and participating in problem-solving activities.
Develop knowledge of Accounting processes, systems, and tools through training, job shadowing, and hands-on involvement in daily operations.
Provide general administrative support, including coordinating meetings, maintaining trackers, and assisting with team events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Our requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluent English and Polish language skills, both written and spoken.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data, documentation, and routine accounting tasks.
Good analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and work with numerical data.
Good skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, and basic formulas) and willingness to learn accounting and workflow systems such as SAP and ServiceNow.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing in a team environment.
Reliable, adaptable, and service-oriented, with a high level of professionalism, ownership, and commitment to confidentiality when handling financial information.
