System Analyst

Overview

Our client is a well-established local company in Hong Kong and they are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic System Analyst to join the forward-thinking team. In this role, you will be a central player in designing, executing, and maintaining innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology and digital product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead system analysis and design for new projects, from requirement gathering to solution design and implementation
• Take the lead in managing project timelines, risks and deliverables, coordinating with developers, vendors and stakeholders as needed.
• Work closely with business users to collect, challenge and document user requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop and enhance systems, ensuring high performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Own and manage CI/CD pipelines, including build, test and deployment automation.
• Apply up‑to‑date knowledge of AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g. code assistants, refactoring tools) to improve development efficiency and code quality.
• Conduct system testing, support UAT and provide post‑implementation support and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, with hands-on project leadership experience. 
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC and experience building and deploying new systems and digital products.
• Strong, practical experience in Java Spring Boot and ReactJS is a must.
• Solid experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar).
• Proven track record in end‑to‑end system design, user requirement analysis and solution delivery for new projects (not only maintenance).
• Comfortable working as a independent System Analyst, highly self‑driven, able to make decisions and work with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with modern AI‑assisted coding tools and best practices, and willing to adopt new technologies to enhance productivity.
• Knowledge of key design and development approaches, including scalability and performance tuning.
• Strong commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
