Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a talented Brand Associate specialized in creative content to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on supporting Scion communities by developing creative resources for thematic campaigns, copywriting, producing content to support resident experience, and ensuring brand standards are upheld.
The Brand Associate is a strategic leader that excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate environment. This role demands expert level prioritization, well-honed communication skills, a stubborn refusal to settle, and an appreciation for bold innovation.
Your Responsibilities
- Contributes expertise and collaborates on other departmental brand initiatives as required.
- Ensure that the integrity of our community and corporate brands is maintained and our residents and prospects are engaged.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to develop appropriate materials, including facilitating the ordering, proofreading, communicating status updates and achieving production deadlines for promotional and brand collateral.
- Thoroughly review art requests, promo materials and communications for grammar and punctuation accuracy and brand alignment.
- Maintain positive vendor relationships and manage necessary production coordination.
- Contribute fresh ideas and innovative suggestions for experiential outreach.
- Design graphics and visual assets for thematic and seasonal campaigns, ensuring all creative output aligns with established brand standards.
- Write and edit original copy across a range of formats, including campaign messaging, websites, signage, and email.
- Develop creative templates and toolkits that enable community teams to deploy on-brand content locally.
- Maintain an organized brand asset library and creative resource hub for use across the portfolio.
- Assist with creating and revising original content for Scion’s corporate and property websites.
- Assist with collecting imagery for community website updates and creating written content.
- Coordinate with various teams on the development of campaigns and assist in the auditing of all branding initiatives, websites, and materials. Provide communication and the necessary follow-up to ensure compliance with branding standards.

What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Manages multiple projects and meets goals and deadlines timely and consistently; Requires minimal guidance to accomplish general tasks.
- Works well independently, as a member of various teams and with all levels of management.
- Versatile, flexible, and thrives in an environment where there are constantly changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Proficiency with ClickUp and Entrata is a plus.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% in a year, paid for by the company.

Operational Details
- Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
- Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.

The base salary range for this full-time position is base + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
