Job Description

As a Security Officer Fire Prevention in Wheat Ridge, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and vehicle traffic activities, reporting unusual conditions, damaged access points, or other security-related issues to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
