Accounts Assistant
Location: Hybrid Halifax - Activate Group Limited, Level 4, D Mill, Dean Clough Mills, Halifax, HX3 5AX

About the role
We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance department and play a key role in providing accurate and timely administrative assistance to the Accounts Team. Key areas of responsibility will include processing of supplier invoices, helping with Purchase ledger and general administrative support.

Key responsibilities
- Answering telephone queries
- Chase supplier invoices and Claim references
- Assist with the production and despatch of sales invoices by email including additional documentation as required by our clients
- Assist with the processing of sales and purchase invoices into the Company's accounts system (Sage)
- Dealing with and investigating Purchase ledger queries
- Other general administrative support as required by the team
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory rules and guidance applicable to the role
- Assist with reconciling Supplier Statements.
Skills and experience
- GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics
- Excellent communication skills, in particular telephone based.
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- First class customer service skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- A Level standard (or equivalent) education
- Good working knowledge of Excel
