Job Description:

Why this Role Matters: Join ITW Construction Products Asia Pacific as a key member of our Shared Services Finance team. This role ensures accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting across Australia, New Zealand and an overseas subsidiary. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions, and helping drive continuous improvement across a global Fortune 300 organisation.

The role is for a fixed term of 6 months. The successful candidate can be based in Melbourne or Auckland. 

What You Will Do:

• Lead month-end close activities, including balance sheet, P&L, and corporate reporting to the US.
• Maintain the general ledger, journals, reconciliations, provisions, and key accounting estimates.
• Partner with Divisional Controllers, Business Analysts and Finance leaders to analyse business performance.
• Support payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for an overseas subsidiary.
• Assist internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ITW policies and reporting standards.
• Drive process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and business insight.

What You Bring:

• A CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years financial accounting experience within a complex or matrix environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month-end processes, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience; Pronto experience is advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
