Job Description:

Role Scope 

Lead enterprise adoption of the New Frontier ecosystem and future Marketing Excellence capabilities by connecting business strategy, marketer needs, technology teams, and capability-building efforts. This leader will ensure that investments in AI-powered marketing tools translate into measurable business impact, improved marketing effectiveness, and accelerated marketer productivity. 

Key responsibilities 

Strategic leadership 

  • Define and lead the enterprise strategy for adoption of New Frontier capabilities. 
  • Translate business objectives into capability roadmaps, adoption plans, and clear priorities. 
  • Partner with senior commercial leaders to ensure solutions address meaningful marketer and business needs. 
  • Establish success measures tied to marketer productivity, capability growth, adoption, and business outcomes. 

Voice of the business 

  • Create formal mechanisms to gather input from marketers, brand teams, and commercial leaders. 
  • Serve as the primary advocate for marketer needs with technology and product teams. 
  • Prioritize enhancements and improvements based on business value and user experience. 
  • Ensure marketers influence future product development and workflow design. 

Marketing AI transformation 

  • Lead the organizational shift toward AI-enabled marketing. 
  • Help marketers evolve from traditional planning and agency management toward AI-assisted strategy, content creation, and execution. 
  • Establish practical standards and leading practices for human and AI collaboration. 
  • Identify opportunities to automate lower-value work and create more capacity for strategic thinking. 

Capability building 

  • Define the capability strategy for the future marketer, including AI fluency and core marketing competencies. 
  • Oversee learning journeys, certifications, playbooks, office hours, coaching, and communities of practice. 
  • Ensure capability programs align with the Marketing Excellence framework and future workforce needs. 
  • Build manager and leader readiness so new skills are reinforced through day-to-day work. 

Change management and adoption 

  • Develop and execute an enterprise adoption and change plan. 
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and targeted communications for executives, people leaders, and marketers. 
  • Monitor adoption health, identify barriers, and coordinate interventions. 
  • Create feedback loops that support continuous learning and system improvement. 

Governance and operating model 

  • Establish governance across technology teams, business stakeholders, and leadership forums. 
  • Lead cross-functional steering and decision forums. 
  • Clarify decision rights, ownership, escalation paths, and accountability. 
  • Create repeatable processes for prioritization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. 

Measurement and analytics 

  • Define and monitor measures for adoption, utilization, capability growth, time savings, content effectiveness, and business impact. 
  • Use insights to refine the experience, target support, and improve value realization. 
  • Report progress, risks, decisions, and recommended actions to senior leadership. 

Candidate profile 

Required experience 

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across commercial, marketing, strategy, transformation, digital, or capability development. 
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical or similarly complex, regulated marketing environments. 
  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation and organizational change. 
  • Experience driving adoption of digital, data, or AI-enabled solutions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and align stakeholders without relying on direct authority.

Capability building: Turns new tools and expectations into practical skills, habits, reinforcement, and measurable proficiency.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$178,000.00 - $307,050.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
