Role summary:
The Manager, Technology Operations will lead strategic initiatives that improve how products are structured, managed, and scaled across Walmart Marketplace. You will tackle complex catalog and seller-enablement challenges impacting assortment growth, catalog quality, seller experience, and customer trust. You’ll translate ambiguous problems into scalable strategies and measurable outcomes, while leading cross-functional programs from strategy through execution. This role requires strong systems thinking, analytical problem solving, executive communication, and cross-functional influence, with the ability to drive sustainable results at scale.

Walmart Marketplace Seller Success is focused on creating scalable experiences that make it easier for sellers to grow their business on Walmart.com. Our team works at the intersection of catalog strategy, seller enablement, and operational excellence, helping improve how products are structured, managed, and scaled across Marketplace. We solve complex challenges that impact assortment growth, catalog quality, seller experience, and customer trust. We partner closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Business, and Operations to identify systemic opportunities, develop scalable solutions, and drive programs from strategy through execution.
What you'll do:

• Lead strategic Marketplace initiatives that improve catalog quality, assortment scalability, and seller experiences.
• Translate complex challenges into clear strategies, business cases, and actionable recommendations.
• Identify systemic gaps and root causes to develop scalable solutions across seller and catalog experiences.
• Define success measures and operating mechanisms that drive accountability and sustained performance.
• Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Business, and Operations.
• Use data and insights to influence decisions, communicate tradeoffs, measure progress, and drive outcomes.

What you'll bring:

• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs, strategic initiatives, or technology-enabled transformations.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to identify root causes and design scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to evaluate opportunities, tradeoffs, and impact.
• Ability to translate ambiguity into clear strategies and actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, driving alignment across teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience developing business cases, governance models, and operating mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and bias toward action, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
