Job Summary:
Leads the daily drywall operations of all workers under his or her care to achieve high-quality and timely results. Coordinates crew activities, resource allocation, and workflow to achieve project objectives and maintain productivity. Collaborates with project teams, superintendents, and other trades to resolve basic issues and support seamless project delivery. Promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement by modeling best practices and providing clear guidance. Enhances organizational performance by ensuring efficient use of resources and supporting the professional development of crew members.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the management and development of a crew of drywallers, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under supervision.
Coordinates with project managers, suppliers, and other trades to facilitate timely delivery of materials and resolve site challenges.
Monitors safety protocols and promotes a culture of accountability and risk prevention within the team.
Reviews blueprints and specifications to guide accurate installation of drywall systems.
Tracks project progress and prepares regular updates on milestones, issues, and outcomes for leadership review.
Manages allocation of labor, equipment, and materials to optimize project efficiency.
Accurately completes and submits time cards for assigned crews, ensuring timely and precise recording of labor hours in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
5 years of experience in drywall installation, finishing, or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
