Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts, China

Reporting to: China Sales Director
Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts, China, will drive the acquisition and growth of strategic clients
across China. Working closely with cross functional teams, this role focuses on identifying new business
opportunities, developing national account strategies, and winning complex projects with leading
enterprises.
This is a highly strategic, client-facing role responsible for engaging senior decision-makers, mobilizing cross-functional resources, and accelerating growth in priority industries and key accounts. The successful candidate will play an important role in expanding MillerKnoll's market presence, increasing share of wallet, and creating long-term business opportunities across China.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Development
• Identify, develop and win new strategic accounts across China.
• Build strong relationships with client executives, CRE leaders, procurement teams, workplace decision makers, A&D firms and project stakeholders.
• Develop account strategies and growth plans for priority customers.
• Lead complex sales pursuits, major presentations, negotiations and competitive tenders.
• Position MillerKnoll's portfolio of brands to deliver differentiated workplace solutions.
Business Growth & Market Development
• Create new revenue opportunities in priority industries and national accounts.
• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to maximize client engagement and sales success.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive trends to support overall business growth.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of strategic opportunities and ensure accurate Salesforce reporting.
Strategic Sales Leadership
• Support leadership in developing strategic account priorities and go-to-market initiatives in China.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to improve win rates on major opportunities.
• Strengthen collaboration across sales, corporate functional teams and dealer partners.
• Promote best practices in strategic account management and channel governance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 10+ years of B2B sales, business development or strategic account management experience.
• Proven success in winning large enterprise customers and complex project opportunities.
• Experience in commercial furniture, workplace solutions, commercial real estate, architecture, design, construction or related industries is preferred.
• Strong network with key stakeholders of strategic clients
• Excellent consultative selling, negotiation and strategic planning skills.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Fluent Mandarin and English.
• Willingness to travel across China.
Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured by:
• Growth in strategic account revenue.
• New clients acquired.
• Value and quality of relevant sales pipeline.
• Win rate on major strategic opportunities.
• Expansion of national account relationships.
• Contribution to China's overall sales growth and market share.
