The role
The role provides administrative support to the Information Security function and helps ensure that governance documentation, registers, evidence repositories and trackers remain accurate, organised and easy to maintain.
The responsibilities
Governance and Documentation
- maintaining records relating to information security policies, procedures, standards and guidance documents, including version control, review schedules and approval records under the direction of the Senior Information Security Officer
- maintaining action trackers and monitor progress of outstanding governance, audit and certification activities
- collating and organising evidence for the firm’s cyber security certifications (Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and IASME Cyber Assurance), maintaining evidence indexes and repositories
- tracking certification tasks and readiness against the schedule, escalating any slippage to the SISO
- issuing supplier questionnaires, as required, and track responses and maintain supplier assurance records to include status updates
- maintaining third-party due diligence records, as required
- maintaining all relevant registers and trackers, including action logs and policy review records
- maintaining supplier records and evidence indexes
You
- a sound understanding of the tasks covering a range of activities using multiple methods, techniques and processes
- may have attained or be working towards a relevant qualification
- good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint Online, Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
- effective communication skills and the ability to converse with a range of people, adapting style with ease to suit the audience and situation
- ability to identify and resolve non-complex issues with support and direction
- ability to prioritise and complete tasks to achieve deadlines wit support and direction
- ability to work to specified standards and service levels and propose solutions to resolve straight forward daily problems
- evidence a positive and committed approach to teamwork and understand the importance of working together to provide excellent client service
