The Presentation Specialist develops, enhances, formats, and quality-checks PowerPoint presentations supporting healthcare communications, medical affairs, commercial, market access, training, and corporate communications initiatives. Working from existing slide decks, storyboards, workshop outputs, outlines, and client-provided materials, this role transforms content into polished, visually compelling, client-ready presentations. The focus is on visual execution, presentation quality, consistency, and user experience rather than content creation.
This role partners with account teams, medical writers, scientific directors, strategists, and creative leads to ensure presentations are clear, accurate, engaging, and aligned with client, brand, and quality standards. Expertise in advanced PowerPoint functionality, presentation design, and complex charting and diagram development is required. Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical communications experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, format, and enhance PowerPoint presentations using client and internal content.
Transform draft slides, storyboards, and workshop outputs into polished deliverables.
Improve slide design, readability, visual hierarchy, and overall presentation effectiveness.
Apply and maintain presentation standards, templates, Slide Masters, themes, and asset libraries.
Create PowerPoint-native graphics, diagrams, timelines, process maps, frameworks, organizational charts, and infographics.
Develop charts, graphs, and data visualizations that simplify complex information.
Utilize advanced PowerPoint features, including Slide Masters, custom layouts, SmartArt, chart formatting, animations, navigation, and template development.
Troubleshoot and optimize complex PowerPoint files to ensure usability and editability.
Conduct detailed quality reviews for formatting, branding, consistency, functionality, and accuracy.
Manage multiple projects, incorporating stakeholder feedback and meeting deadlines.
Serve as the PowerPoint subject matter expert and provide presentation best-practice guidance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Design, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Advanced English proficiency
3-5 years of presentation design, PowerPoint specialist, or related experience.
Demonstrated expertise creating professional, high-impact PowerPoint presentations.
Experience supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, consulting, agency, or corporate organizations preferred.
Required Skills
Expert-level Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency.
Advanced Slide Master and template development skills.
Strong presentation design, information design, and visual communication capabilities.

Working model
This is a hybrid position, requiring at least 1x/month office presence. May vary with business needs. Our office is located in Rio Becerra 27, Escandón. CDMX.
