We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee manual and automated testing activities for the client engagement, including review of testing performed by solution providers. This position will be full-time and onsite in Newark, DE.

What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements
Coordinate and execute manual test cycles, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks
Determine which test cases are candidates for automation based on frequency, risk, and regression value
Coordinate execution of automated regression suites as part of the release and deployment cycle
Work with the QA and development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
Monitor automated test results and triage failures to distinguish defects from script or environment issues
Evaluate and recommend testing tools consistent with the client's technical environment
Log, track, and manage defects through resolution, working with development teams to confirm fixes
Coordinate retesting of resolved defects and track retest outcomes through closure
Review and evaluate testing performed by solution providers or third-party vendors for completeness and quality
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users, scheduling sessions, and tracking sign-off
Review requirements and design documentation to identify testable acceptance criteria
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
Build and maintain burndown rate reporting for test execution, defect resolution, and UAT progress
Build and maintain velocity reports covering solution provider testing, UAT, defects, and retests
Design, build, and maintain UAT dashboards showing test case status, pass/fail rates, defect counts, and sign-off progress
Maintain test data sets used across manual and automated test cycles, including data refresh and masking requirements
Track and report quality metrics such as defect density, defect leakage, test coverage, and cycle time
Provide regular status reporting to project leadership and client stakeholders on testing progress against schedule
Ensure test and defect data is accurate and consistently maintained in the test management and defect tracking tools
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Prior experience managing or leading a QA team across manual and automated testing efforts
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, or similar)
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or similar)
Experience building status reporting and dashboards for testing metrics (e.g., burndown charts, UAT dashboards)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated attention to detail and quality assurance discipline when working with data and analysis
Preferred:
Experience supporting UAT cycles with business or client end users
Proficiency with SQL for test data validation, extraction, and reporting
Experience building dashboards or interactive reporting tools (e.g., R Shiny, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to communicate status and metrics to stakeholders
Experience with cloud data storage and pipeline tools (e.g., Azure) supporting test data and reporting needs
Experience collaborating across back-end and front-end teams to ensure data is properly stored, integrated, and available for testing and reporting
Experience working within a formal software development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile delivery model
Project management certification or equivalent experience
ISTQB or similar QA certification
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$120,000 - $130,000 per yearThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
