Responsibilities and Impact:
You will integrate into an all-star group and make a significant impact to the team and company by addressing client queries while showcasing your vast knowledge of our tools, data and the industries we cover.
As a Product Consultant, you will be providing the best and most efficient ways for our clients to achieve quality results, and thus, you’ll be able to learn and combine expertise in our products with a deep understanding of who our clients are and how they use our tools. You will be responsible for providing professional, timely, thorough and quality support of our feed based products.
Provide feedback and engage in projects focused on improving current processes.
Apply intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge to understand the syntax of the client requirements and support client inquiries related to Xpressfeed, Snowflake, and Workbench.
Act as a mentor for new consultants and champion our team's best practices.
Recording accurate and timely tracking of client issues within our Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce).
Documentation of newly found solutions and product updates.
Collaboration with internal teams across the global organization to answer client concerns, and route improvement requests and sales leads.
Staying current on existing and newly developed product offerings.
What We’re Looking For?
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of S&P Datasets and Solutions.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field.
Experience in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of corporate accounting statements such as the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Team-player mentality with collaboration and project management skills.
Flexibility for changes in a dynamic environment.
Intermediate to advanced SQL and Excel experience.
Desire and aptitude for continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-4 years working experience in a finance or data related position.
Knowledge of investments including private equity, public equity, fixed income, ETF’s, mutual funds, commodities, etc.
Basic understanding of S&P Capital IQ Pro Platform/Products would be an advantage
