What You'll Do
Sales Development & Pipeline Building
Independently identify and prospect new enterprise clients (C-suite, Directors, VPs) in your territory using LinkedIn, targeted databases, and other research methods
Invest at least 60% of the time, in face to face interactions with customers or new prospects
Conduct consultative needs assessments and position HighQ and CoCounsel as strategic solutions to complex legal and compliance challenges
Develop and manage a healthy pipeline with clear conversion metrics
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals across the sales cycle
Account & Revenue Management
Own end-to-end sales responsibility for assigned territory—from first prospecting conversation through contract close
Drive retention, upselling, and renewal revenue from existing accounts
Present monthly sales results and weekly pipeline forecasts to management
Manage deal budgets and scope to maximize profitability
Strategic Contributions
Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy
Contribute to the development of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
Partner with leadership on territory planning and expansion initiatives
About You
Legal Background with sales Skills
5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience (preferably in legal tech, law firms, corporate legal departments, or adjacent B2B software)
Proven hunter mentality—you excel at prospecting, cold outreach, and opening new doors
Consultative selling ability—you can diagnose customer pain points and articulate value, not just pitch features
Track record of exceeding sales targets consistently (Achiever/Overachiever mindset required)
Strong negotiation and communication skills to influence senior decision-makers
Territory ownership mindset—you take ownership of your market and drive results independently
Fluent English (required for client interactions)
University degree (MBA desirable; legal background or legal tech experience is a plus)
About the role
Experience selling to legal departments, law firms, or compliance-heavy organizations
Familiarity with knowledge management, legal tech, or enterprise software solutions
Existing network or relationships in the Mexican legal/corporate market
Experience in a remote or distributed sales environment
