This Change Expert (Change Expert VI) role within CoE Risk Advisory team in Global Retail offers you the opportunity to contribute to the growth ambition of Retail Banking by owning:
the overall responsibility of steering change and ensure oversight from business perspective on PARP and Global CAS related topics for retail products, as well as domain expert role within retail business line at global level for NFR (product related controls focus) and Compliance (KYC focus) risks across all retail segments
It requires to master a combination of business, risk & regulatory and data & systems knowledge as well as strategic thinking, proactive hands-on change management and practical delivery in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
The team
You will be part of CoE Risk Advisory team within the Global Retail organization, reporting directly to the Head of CoE Risk Advisory. Our team includes experts on various risk domains working in autonomy, dynamically and flexibly to stay a step ahead of the changing business and regulatory environments.
Roles and responsibilities
Main responsibilities in this role are:
Overall responsible for managing PARP and related product control environment at global level by:
owning the RB Product Catalogue
ensuring harmonized way of working within RB in line with PARP Policy and Control Standards with focus on scalability
ensuring monitoring and oversight over all RB PARPs.
performing secretariat activities for Bank and RB Product Approval Committees
supporting the facilitation of risk assessments regarding global and cross-country PARPs, including advice to business stakeholders and content challenge of the relevant risk functions
Overall responsible for Global CAS matters:
Acting as SPOC for global audits concerning RB
Ensure timely and relevant input, including action plans for remediation, during global audits
Ensure timely issue closing
Support global initiatives on KYC and product related risk and controls matters, with focus on customer experience, process optimization, digitalization and ensuring an effective control environment following a risk based approach
Co-design solutions to meet regulatory requirements and business related objectives
Identify, evaluate and prioritize change needs/opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives and action plans
Analyse upcoming regulations from a business perspective in close cooperation with legal, compliance and risk management functions
Provide guidance within the Global Retail team as well as towards the countries regarding regulatory obligations and internal frameworks
Facilitate knowledge and best practice sharing between the countries and various central functions regarding regulatory requirements across Retail segments and products

Previous experience in the following domains is prerequisite to succeed in this role:
Previous roles within 1st LoD related to managing/ des retail clients processes and products, including PARP and involvement in preparing topics for Product Approval Committees
Previous roles within 2nd LoD relevant for KYC and product control environment connected to retail clients processes and products
Experience in managing complex transformation projects regarding digitalization and regulatory changes, involving multiple stakeholders
Both local and global experience
Good understanding of Retail Banking client segments and products and underlying risks
Solid understanding of the ING organization, governance and system landscape
Proactive and organized, can provide structure, tangible outcomes and timely delivery. Analytica mindset and strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communicator – ability simplify complex concepts and convey clear and concise messages to stakeholders with very diverse backgrounds
Strong stakeholder management skills and organizational sensitivity to act within complex stakeholder environments
