Systel’s business is growing, The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent across departments. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develops effective sourcing strategies to support production, engineering, technical, and administrative staffing requirements.
Who You Are
You are a proactive, strategic recruiter who excels in managing the full-cycle talent acquisition process. You build strong partnerships with hiring managers, taking time to understand their workforce needs and aligning recruitment efforts with organizational goals. You are skilled in developing effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates across engineering, technical, compliance, corporate, and other professional functions. Organized, resourceful, and results‑driven, you bring a thoughtful approach to identifying, engaging, and securing top talent that supports Systel’s continued growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce planning needs, and desired candidate profiles.
- Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines for manufacturing positions such as production operators, technicians, engineers, and skilled trades.
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, staffing agencies, and networking.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the selection process.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain accurate recruiting records and reports.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires including offer letters, background checks, and orientation coordination.
- Attend job fairs, industry events, and community workforce initiatives to build talent pipelines.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Collaborate with HR team on employer branding initiatives and workforce development programs.
- Managing and supporting Internship program, communicating with universities
- May facilitate orientation for new employees and perform exit interviews for employees leaving the organization. Other duties as assigned.
- Travel up to 15% as needed to partner with Universities or recruiting events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
- 3 – 5 years of recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades, technical, engineering, or production roles is highly preferred.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience partnering with workforce development organizations, technical schools, or apprenticeship programs.
- Familiarity with employment regulations and hiring best practices.
