This role contributes to Starbucks success by developing and leading global coffee education programs, content, and storytelling that build partner capability and deepen connection to Starbucks coffee. This partner will play a key role in the evolution of Coffee Master and the broader coffee education journey, partnering closely with Brand, Operations, and Learning.

As a Coffee & Tea Education Lead, Global Coffee & Tea, you will:

• Shape the evolution of Coffee Master and coffee education. Lead and support programs that simplify and modernize the coffee learning journey while building meaningful coffee knowledge, sensory expertise, and storytelling capabilities.
• Create compelling learning content. Develop clear, engaging educational tools, facilitator materials, presentations, and stories for partners and leaders across channels and audiences.
• Connect coffee education and Brand storytelling. Partner with Brand and coffee subject matter experts to translate coffee strategy, quality, craft, and innovation into accurate and inspiring narratives.
• Lead cross-functional programs. Manage complex projects, timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies across Global Coffee & Tea, Operations, Learning, Brand, and other teams.
• Design engaging learning experiences. Use adult learning and instructional design principles to create sensory-forward, practical experiences that build real skill and can scale across the business and global audiences.
• Measure and continuously improve. Gather feedback, data, and insights to strengthen content, programs, and partner outcomes over time.

We'd love to hear from people with:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience leading education, learning, communications, engagement, retail operations, or related programs and projects.
• Starbucks Coffee Master preferred, with strong content development and storytelling skills, including the ability to turn complex coffee information into clear, relevant learning experiences.
• Strong coffee knowledge and the ability to communicate coffee quality, craft, sensory, and sourcing concepts with credibility.
• Instructional design, adult learning, curriculum development, or facilitation experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and geographies, influence without authority, solve complex problems in a matrixed organization, and adapt quickly to shifting business needs and priorities.
• Strong program management skills and the ability to synthesize multiple inputs into a cohesive plan.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences, including senior leaders.
• Experience partnering with Brand, Operations, or enterprise Learning teams preferred.
• Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 25% of the time.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
