BioLegend has an exciting new opportunity in our Custom Solutions team for a life science graduate with 1-3 years’ experience in the biotech or pharma industry. The incumbent will handle internal and external project coordination for our custom solutions team and contribute to BioLegend’s mission of providing legendary customer service. They will be accountable for their own project pipeline, from the initial scoping to manufacturing and timely delivery to the customer.
The role will involve exposure to all areas of the business as well as being the key contact person for our customers including CRO’s, biopharma, GMP and IVD accounts. There is potential for growth in various directions depending on the individual’s interest and area of specialization.
The successful individual will demonstrate high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to stay on top of multiple projects using project and customer management software. They will ensure a smooth flow of business and account for the needs of different stakeholders with a diplomatic touch.
Essential Functions

- Qualify incoming leads for custom (GMP, IVD, Bioprocessing) queries from customers and the field team
- Knowledge of cell therapy manufacturing is a plus
- Track quotes and orders on CRM and ERP systems such as SalesForce and D365
- Support customer needs as a priority by ensuring timely responses to emails and phone calls
- Pro-actively communicate any changes to project specifications with internal and external teams in a timely manner and document these changes to ensure visibility to internal and external teams
- Provide proactive guidance to the custom team to streamline workflow, resolve issues and manage customer priorities
- Run weekly reports on custom projects initiated and report status to supervisor with the goal to identify issues or bottlenecks and suggest solutions
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required to enable success of projects
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- BS in Life or Natural Sciences
- 1-3 years’ experience in R&D/manufacturing in the life sciences industry
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- BS/MS in life sciences
- Experience in a lab environment
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce)
- Experience with ERP software
- Understand common assays like SDS-Page, SEC, and Endotoxin testing (gel clot)

Compensation Range:
The anticipated hourly range for this role is $26.44 –$35.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
