Description
Warehouse Management Systems are central to the organisation’s ability to plan, move, track, and control inventory effectively.
As the Warehouse Management Systems Analyst, you will help ensure the reliability and stability of the WMS while identifying opportunities to improve how the system supports warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
- At least five years’ relevant experience supporting, analysing, configuring, or enhancing a Warehouse Management System, with enough hands-on depth to contribute quickly.
- Exposure to SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle, or an equivalent WMS platform.
- A practical understanding of supply-chain processes, inventory management, and stock statuses.
- Experience extracting and analysing operational or system data.
- Working understanding of SQL and Python sufficient to investigate discrepancies, interpret queries, assess vendor time estimates and development requirements, and engage effectively with developers; hands-on software coding is not required.
- Knowledge of WMS integration with ERP or WCS platforms through EDI, APIs, or flat files.
- Familiarity with RF scanners, label printers, voice-picking headsets, or automated conveyor interfaces.
- Strong Excel and Google tools capability, together with practical Gemini or AI literacy.
- Evidence of translating operational requirements into functional or technical specifications.
- Experience testing system changes in a live, complex, or operationally sensitive environment.
- The ability to communicate technical insights clearly to business stakeholders and work extensively with vendors.
- A structured, analytical, collaborative, assertive, adaptable, and initiative-driven working style.
- Jira experience would be beneficial for managing support calls and projects.
