Who are we looking for
This position is for a Global Facilitation Lead role for EMEA, within Talent Development & Learning Team (TD&L), responsible for planning, scheduling, deploying, and ensuring smooth delivery of functional training programs, as well as supporting employee development at State Street based on business requirements. In addition to managing the planning, scheduling, deployment, of functional training, this role is responsible for monitoring training effectiveness, of the Global Delivery Academy programs. The role requires a strong understanding of the financial services industry, departmental policies, and company policies
The effectiveness of this role directly impacts employees’ readiness for their responsibilities and the company’s ability to reduce operational risk and potential liability. The individual will report to the Global Head of Facilitation team within TD&L and will also work closely with the enterprise learning solution manager (ELSM) & other leads in the global team for extended support, which serve as the training team’s internal clients.
What you will be responsible for
Lead a matured team of seasoned trainers across EMEA
The candidate should possess sound knowledge of Financial Markets, Investment Management, and Servicing industry is required, along with a strong understanding of primary and secondary market operations. Thorough knowledge of trade processing, settlement, cash breaks, NAV impact, and related analysis is required.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, along with knowledge of AI tools within the organization.
Key responsibilities include collaboration with Enterprise Learning Solutions Managers to design Global Delivery Academy curricula/offerings, developing participant training materials for advanced functional programs and system enhancements, and cross-training with other trainers and business unit staff to expand training capabilities. The lead will also liaise with subject matter experts to support the development and evaluation of training materials and attend staff development to enhance content and industry knowledge.
Knowledge of State Street services, systems, processes, and procedures is preferred. The role also involves supporting the development of new training programs, enhancing existing offerings, and delivering training content with relevant context and business insight.
The candidate must be able to, work effectively with cross-functional teams on training initiatives and committees, and contribute as part of a virtual training team across multiple locations and countries while sharing best practices. Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional methods, learning delivery, and training effectiveness measurement is essential.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Solid understanding of the Financial Markets / Investment Management and Servicing industry is required, and intimate knowledge of State Street services, systems, processes and procedures is preferred.
Support the development of new training and or evolve existing training offerings as well as delivering existing materials and add context/content/background to delivery of courses.
Ability to teach Functional information to employees of all experience levels.
Ability to work effectively with employees from other departments on training projects and various committees.
Ability to work as part of a virtual training team spanning several locations/countries, sharing best practices.
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects or experience as a Subject Matter expert in house trainer
Bachelor’s degree with business, finance, accounting, or education major preferred.
15+ years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Ability to develop business relationships, both within and outside of the organization.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, foster collaboration & teamwork.
Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
