Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team at Hitachi Digital Global India Private Limited. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on optimizing our Salesforce platform to drive efficiency and achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

* Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications for Salesforce solutions.
* Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit requirements, identify pain points, and define user stories, use cases, and process flows.
* Perform gap analysis between existing business processes and Salesforce capabilities, proposing effective solutions and enhancements.
* Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and project managers throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
* Configure Salesforce functionality, including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, process builder, and approval processes, to meet business requirements.
* Develop and execute test plans, create test cases, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet quality standards and user expectations.
* Provide ongoing support, training, and documentation to end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Salesforce.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance and Salesforce usage.
* Participate in release management activities, including impact analysis and deployment planning.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on Salesforce.
* Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for Salesforce implementations.
* Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud functionalities.
* Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflow rules, process builder, and validation rules.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable business terms.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is highly preferred.
* Experience with Salesforce integration projects is a plus.
* Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components is an advantage.
