About the role:
As a Warehousing Manager, you will organize and monitor an effective warehouse operation, compliant with company and legal requirements. You will be responsible to provide the required service and product to customers at an optimal cost and with highest quality.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct internal inspections and audits to ensure warehouse and warehousing operations always remain compliant.
Manage internal and external Audits related to EHS, GMP and financials.
Ensuring compliance in operations also in managing the OPEX and CAPEX.
Delivering net savings targets with embedding the positive culture within the team.
Assess warehouse design and layouts and ensure efficient space utilization.
Implement systems and processes to ensure efficient operations and security of stocks.
Ensure items are placed in the appropriate and safe locations, considering temperature, size, weight, available space, etc.
Ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met.
Apply Cycle Counting procedures to measure and ensure accuracy of stocks as per the company and financial guidelines.
Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are being met.
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
Prepare strategic plans for long term capacity planning.
Ensure that company’s values and behaviors are followed in day-to-day operations.
Responsible to manage the export dispatches in coordination with supply planning
Managing the DRAs for Export and all related materials import, Local
Create a culture of continuous improvement.
Train and develop staff for key roles and monitor performance through objective setting and regular follow-up sessions.
Manage an annual volume turnover of 120.0m finished packs to market.
Responsible for managing an inventory of £10-12.0m raw materials, packaging materials, finished packs, and spares.
Managing a total staff of approx. 28-30 through 4-5 direct reports.
Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
Comply and ensure compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements.
Candidate Profile:
Pharm D + or MBA in Supply Chain with 8 - 10 years of experience in a large FMCG or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Well versed in GMP, GWP, and EHS requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization and externally
Capable of interacting the cross functional departments with capability of securing approvals on budgets by providing strong justifications.
Capability of giving positive challenges and taking challenging situations with positive mindsets.
Able to lead teams of diversified individuals in management and non-management cadre
Able to formulate Strategic, Tactical, and Execution plans, Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
Thorough understanding of ERP and WMS, Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics & Transportation
