Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client, a major organisation within the retail pharmacy sector, is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Cape Town team on a 6-month contract.

The successful incumbent will provide additional recruitment capacity across the Retail and Dispensary environment, managing end-to-end recruitment and partnering closely with hiring managers to fill vacancies efficiently.

This opportunity is best suited to a hands-on recruiter with approximately 3–5 years' recruitment experience, ideally gained within retail, pharmacy or another high-volume recruitment environment.

The role is based onsite in Stikland, Cape Town, and the successful candidate should be available to commence at short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across Retail and Dispensary vacancies.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and define suitable candidate profiles.
• Draft and update job specifications and advertisements.
• Manage candidate attraction and sourcing across appropriate recruitment channels.
• Screen, assess and shortlist candidates against role requirements.
• Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers and interview panels.
• Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining agreed recruitment timelines.
• Provide additional recruitment capacity to the broader Talent Acquisition team.
• Maintain a positive candidate experience and strong stakeholder relationships throughout the process.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years' Talent Acquisition / recruitment experience.
• Strong end-to-end recruitment capability.
• Previous recruitment experience within retail or pharmacy would be highly advantageous.
• Experience recruiting within a high-volume environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers.
• Good interviewing, screening and candidate assessment capability.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on recruitment environment.
• Cape Town based and able to work onsite in Stikland.
• Available to commence at short notice.
