Grow Financial is headquartered in Tampa, FL. For remote roles, candidates must be located in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WV, WI, WY. 

Responsibilities

This position has the responsibility for supporting loan resolution activities related to data reporting, validation, and model testing. Must be comfortable working with large amounts of data in multiple systems and synthesizing data into actionable insights. Frequent collaboration with other areas of the credit union is expected.

 

Internship to start Spring 2027. 

Competitive pay starting at $20/hr.Must be enrolled at University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina to qualify for a Grow Financial internship. Start date: Staggared start Tuesday January 26th, 2026 & Wednesday January 27th, 2026 New Hire Orientation: Friday January 29th, 2026We do not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 status and will not sponsor them for work visas.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Data Analytics or Data Science degree program at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina.
• Successful completion of a data analytics course preferred.
• Must have high proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and SQL.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment:

• Must be local to Tampa Bay, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
• Sedentary Role
• Regular collaboration via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx
• Normal hours are 8am -5pm, Monday – Friday, with flexibility around school schedule. Schedule will not exceed 29hrs/week.
