Job Summary

Patriot Abatement of Dallas is hiring dependable, safety-focused Abatement Technicians to join our growing team.

The Abatement Technician will perform asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and other environmental remediation work on residential and commercial projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

This is a hands-on field position. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, able to follow established safety procedures, and comfortable working in containment while wearing required personal protective equipment.

Previous asbestos or remediation experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider motivated candidates with relevant construction, restoration, demolition, or environmental experience.

Key Responsibilities

? Perform asbestos abatement and mold remediation according to project requirements and applicable regulations.

? Assist with construction of containments, critical barriers, decontamination units, and negative-air systems.

? Perform controlled demolition and removal of asbestos-containing or contaminated building materials.

? Properly bag, label, stage, load, and handle asbestos-containing waste and other regulated materials.

? Operate HEPA vacuums, air filtration devices, negative-air machines, sprayers, hand tools, and other remediation equipment.

? Follow proper respiratory protection, PPE, decontamination, and work-practice procedures.

? Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project.

? Assist with equipment setup, monitoring, cleaning, and breakdown.

? Complete required jobsite documentation and daily paperwork accurately.

? Follow direction from Abatement Supervisors and Project Managers.

? Communicate jobsite concerns, safety issues, or changing conditions immediately.

? Maintain professional conduct when working in customers’ homes and commercial properties.

? Follow all company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

? Current asbestos worker/abatement credentials preferred.

? Previous asbestos, mold remediation, restoration, demolition, or construction experience preferred.

? Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE for extended periods.

? Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including heat, confined work areas, and containment.

? Ability to lift and carry equipment, debris, and materials as required.

? Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

? Ability to work as part of a team and follow detailed instructions.

? Willingness to complete required training, medical surveillance, respirator fit testing, and certification requirements.

? Valid driver’s license preferred.

? Availability for occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency projects as needed.
