PRIME Implementation Services is an international team responsible for the successful delivery of complex implementation and migration programmes for clients worldwide. The team works across functions, geographies and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with client and organisational objectives.

What you will be doing:

As Project Manager Senior, you will provide direction and hands-on leadership for mid to large-scale, complex financial technology projects and initiatives from initiation through delivery and closeout. You will lead delivery across multiple business segments and shared-service functions, under commercial and contractual commitments and constraints, and maintain alignment across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and resources. You will also strengthen delivery capability through governance, sound decision-making, continuous improvement and mentoring of project managers.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

• Lead and deliver complex global projects and programs of varying scale across the full project lifecycle, collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external partners to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Drive the effective gathering, analysis, and validation of business requirements, translating them into fit-for-purpose solutions and implementation strategies aligned with stakeholder expectations.
• Establish and maintain project and program baselines, ensuring robust governance, monitoring, and control to deliver outcomes within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive sponsors, fostering alignment, engagement, and high levels of client satisfaction throughout delivery.
• Apply industry-leading project and program management practices, frameworks, and methodologies to strengthen governance, mitigate risks, and optimize delivery performance.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, managing resource planning, prioritization, communications, reporting, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, and change control to successfully achieve program goals and business outcomes.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of project or program management experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT or financial technology projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Strong software implementation experience and solid understanding of application development methodologies and the software development lifecycle, ideally within banking, payments, or financial services environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multinational, virtual, and cross-functional teams while managing multiple concurrent client engagements and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced project management capabilities, including planning, estimation, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem solving.
• Experience managing projects under commercial and contractual constraints, with responsibility for project governance, financial management, reporting, corrective actions, and delivery outcomes aligned to business objectives.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, senior sponsors, internal teams, and external partners.
• Experience creating and maintaining project management artifacts in accordance with enterprise standards, including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage situations of varying complexity and risk.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related project delivery tools.
• Flexibility to travel and collaborate with global clients and teams across different time zones as required.

Added bonus if you have:

• PMI PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent recognised project management certification.
• Direct experience delivering card management, payment processing or banking technology implementations.
• Experience delivering complex customisations, new modules, framework enhancements or solutions in new countries or locations.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and broader Microsoft Office tools used for planning, reporting and governance.
• Payments industry experience is considered a strong advantage.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 40,000.00 - EUR 50,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
