Business Implementation – Fund Accounting
Your Day-to-Day
As part of the Business Implementation team, you will act as a Fund Accounting Subject Matter Expert and oversee the operational aspects of fund accounting during various fund events, from initial setup through to the transition to business as usual.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Fund Accounting within the Business Implementation team.
- Manage all operational Fund Accounting activities related to fund events, including:
- New fund and sub-fund launches
- Fund migrations in/out
- Fund mergers
- Prospectus changes
- Fund liquidations
- Work across various fund structures, including UCITS, UCI Part II, SIF, RAIF and ELTIF, covering traditional and alternative/hybrid structures.
- Define and implement the target operating model and NAV timeline in line with internal standards.
- Coordinate all teams involved in Fund Accounting to ensure operational setup and In/Out flows are ready according to the target operating model.
- Work closely with transversal teams including Transfer Agency, Fund Dealing Services, Depositary & Fiduciary Services, and Market & Financing Services.
- Monitor and maintain the client event pipeline, project checklist and project plan, ensuring accurate information and appropriate risk mitigation.
- Participate in project meetings and conference calls with clients and counterparties.
- Coordinate In/Out flow connectivity and testing with clients, delegates and IT teams to ensure Day One readiness.
- Ensure client understanding and signature of the Fund Accounting Operating Memorandum and other operational documentation.
- Ensure a smooth transition from project implementation to business-as-usual operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of fund event processes by proposing pragmatic solutions and leading Post-Implementation Reviews where required.
Your Profile
- Solid experience in Fund Accounting within an investment fund or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of fund events and lifecycle processes.
- Experience with fund launches, migrations, mergers and liquidations.
- Good understanding of NAV calculation, NAV timelines and Fund Accounting operating models.
- Knowledge of UCITS, UCI Part II, SIF, RAIF and/or ELTIF structures.
