What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a front desk within a financial institution, following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, emergency situations, and customer inquiries in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer phones, direct guests, and communicate clearly with building management, employees, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
