We have an immediate need for a Shop Assistant at our Bessemer terminal! Great 1st shift schedule of 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday!
Shop Assistant Responsibilities
- Lot checks to include trailer/equipment management reporting
- Daily check on company/driver vehicles
- Parts pickup and stocking
- Assist with Driver rides around town as needed
- Maintenance facility cleaning includes minor facility maintenance and outside lot
- Washing and detailing tractors, trailers, and company equipment
- Equipment inventory checks
- Assist technicians with duties to include mounting and dismounting of tires.
- Miscellaneous shop duties
- Other duties as assigned
Shop Assistant Qualifications
- Previous directly related experience a plus
- Organized and good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Drivers license required
- Post job offer physical and drug screen required
