BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is excited to offer opportunities for Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants to join our collaborative anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Hospital, a flagship facility within the BayCare Health System. Located in the heart of Tampa, this role offers the best of urban medicine with easy access to the Gulf Coast’s most sought‑after beaches, vibrant neighborhoods, and world‑class dining.
Position Highlights:
- Collaborative, supportive culture between physicians, CRNAs, and AAs
- Physicians are approachable, team‑focused, and readily available
- Medically supervised practice with a broad, high‑acuity case mix
- Diverse case variety, including:
- Trauma, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics (all ages)
- Vascular, EP, IR, Neurosurgery
- Robotics, Thoracic, OMFS
- Endoscopy, Urology, ENT
- No open hearts (adult or pediatric)
- Flexible scheduling: choose 8‑, 10‑, or 12‑hour shifts

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
- NCCAA certification required.
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
