Position Title:
Student Worker - Advancement Services Office (Work-Study)Job Description:
The Office of Advancement seeks motivated and detail-oriented work-study students to assist with maintaining the integrity of our Slate CRM data. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our data, which supports our strategic goals and operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Slate data entry/correction tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Scanning/copying and cataloging files into an electronic database
- Researching demographic information
- Update and or consolidate Slate records
- Update Slate data and resolve any data inconsistencies or errors in a timely manner (Fields, Prompt values, preparing data uploads)
- Slate event form testing to include payment mapping
- Slate scholar documentation – Assistance with assembling Standard Operating Procedures
- Assistance with mailings (folding, stuffing, labeling and sorting)
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
- Punctuality is important. Students are expected to be on time for their shifts.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to process data.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or data entry is a plus (training on Slate will be provided).
- Collaborate with team members to support various administrative and operational tasks related to the CRM.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet search engines
- Follow established procedures and confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive
- This position requires sitting for long periods of time, as well as some bending and stooping when working with files. Finger/hand dexterity is involved in regards to typing and/or filing. The overall setting of the job is in an area conducive to a normal office environment with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
Salary and Hours
- Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland.
- Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
