Student Worker - Athletics Sports Information (Work-Study)Job Description:
A student worker employee for the Sports Information Office is a representative of the office both in the office and on campus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the sports information in a variety of fields, including but not limited to press releases, statistics, photography, creative content, and video board operations.
- Help on gamedays with recording, calling, and generating stats for certain sports.
- Running music and scoreboard for selected athletic events.
- Capturing, editing, and posting photos and video clips through the department’s content channels – archival, digital, and social
- Generate graphic for athletic events and various announcements.
- Help with video board operations at basketball through motion graphic director, camera operations, and technical directing.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Salary and Hours
- Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland.
- Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
