Description
Australian Venue Co. is looking for an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team in the Whitsundays, supporting our venues and hospitality operations across the region.
This is a hands-on role involving local multi-drop deliveries to hotels, restaurants, clubs and bottle shops, along with warehouse duties when required.
About the role
As our HR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for:
Local multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods throughout the Whitsunday region
Delivering products safely and efficiently to hospitality venues
Driving an HR vehicle in and around the local area
Hand unloading pallets and stock when required
Assisting with general warehouse duties
Being flexible with early starts and longer shifts when operationally required
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current and valid HR Heavy Vehicle Licence
Previous experience in road freight, multi-drop deliveries or palletised freight
A strong understanding of safe driving and manual handling practices
A reliable, practical and team-focused approach
Flexibility around early starts and shift lengths
A High Risk Work Forklift Licence (LF) is highly regarded
