What You'll Be Doing

The Data & Systems Analyst III is a senior technical contributor on the Technology & Analytics team responsible for supporting the systems, data, reporting, and technology needs of teams across the Compliance organization, including the Firm's Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) department. This role serves as a technical resource for advanced SQL development, recurring and ad hoc reporting, data analytics, automation, and key technology platforms supporting Compliance. The Analyst III partners with AML Compliance stakeholders to translate complex business and reporting requirements into accurate, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions. This position also provides technical guidance to junior team members and promotes consistent standards for SQL development, documentation, testing, and quality assurance.

What We're Looking For

  • Integrate and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems to support Compliance reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
  • Optimize SQL queries and reporting processes for performance, accuracy, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing to ensure the accuracy and completeness of reporting outputs.
  • Provide advanced administration, troubleshooting, and enhancement support for technology platforms used across the Compliance organization.
  • Investigate complex system, data, and reporting issues and coordinate resolution with internal technology teams and vendors.
  • Participate in and provide technical support for system upgrades, vendor implementations, testing, and production deployments.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve business processes and reduce manual effort through technology and automation.
  • Develop automation and data-processing solutions using tools such as Power Automate and Python where appropriate.
  • Evaluate and apply AI-enabled technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve processes and operational efficiency.
  • Lead complex technical and reporting initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance and review SQL, reporting, automation, and other technical solutions developed by junior analysts.
  • Mentor Analyst I and Analyst II team members on SQL, systems support, data analysis, testing, and technical best practices. Promote consistent standards for SQL development, documentation, testing, quality assurance, and version control.

What You'll Bring

  • Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business and reporting requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of structured data, relational databases, reporting, and data validation.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex system, data, and reporting issues.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and manage multiple high-priority deliverables.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on data accuracy, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and junior team members.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other analysts.
