Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in NEEDHAM, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential hospitality location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, customer-focused presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
