Department Overview

The Exacom Logging Recorder team is responsible for Motorola Solutions’ cloud-native logging platforms, real-time voice and radio recording engines, and AI-assisted analytics software leveraged in public safety, defense, and critical infrastructure applications worldwide.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks

• Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive user experiences

• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components

• Consume RESTful APIs and integrate with backend services

• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions

• Optimize application performance and usability

• Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices

Basic Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; equivalent experience considered

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

• Experience developing applications using React

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

• Experience integrating REST APIs

• Experience working with Git-based workflows

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Experience with component libraries and state management solutions

• Familiarity with automated UI testing

• Experience developing enterprise SaaS applications

• Knowledge of cloud-hosted applications

• Familiarity with multimedia streaming or visualization
