Position Overview
We are seeking a Per Diem Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician) to provide comprehensive care to patients in the Roxborough, Pennsylvania area. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a flexible schedule, supplemental clinical work, or the ability to maintain a per diem practice alongside other professional commitments.
The physician will evaluate and manage patients with a variety of physical medicine and rehabilitation needs, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans and optimize functional outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical medicine consultations.
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Provide appropriate medication management and procedural interventions within scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and communication with referring providers.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency.
- Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
- DEA registration.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
