We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant – Tolling to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role provides day-to-day accounting support with a primary focus on Tolling operations, including financial transactions, reconciliations, data accuracy and transaction research. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers and financial information, has strong Excel skills, and takes pride in maintaining accurate records.
This is a blended accounting position. While Tolling will be your primary area of responsibility, you will also provide support to the 3PC accounting function when required, including during PTO coverage and periods of increased business demand.
The role will begin with on-site training in the Dallas market. Following successful completion of training, the position will transition to a Work-from-Home arrangement, with occasional on-site requirements as needed.
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM CST, with flexibility.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily accounting activities related to Tolling operations.
- Process, review and validate tolling-related financial transactions.
- Complete and assist with bank and financial reconciliations.
- Review financial data and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, investigate and escalate discrepancies, variances and transaction issues.
- Research and assist with resolving financial discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Enter, update and validate financial information within relevant systems.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organise, analyse and reconcile financial data.
- Provide accounting and administrative support to the wider Finance & Accounting team.
- Provide coverage and support for the 3PC accounting function when required.
- Meet established deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Use AI-enabled tools to support research, efficiency and day-to-day productivity.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and business information.
- Work additional hours when required, including occasional weekend support.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience in an Accounting Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Clerk or similar role.
- Experience with bank reconciliations or financial reconciliations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical skills and data-entry accuracy.
- Ability to identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Comfortable working with financial systems and learning new technology.
- Experience using virtual communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Comfortable working on camera when required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM CST, with flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend work.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-volume accounting or transaction-processing environment.
- Experience with tolling, payments, transportation or related financial transactions.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting multiple accounting functions or business units.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
