About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant in technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT). This candidate will join the Payments Technology organization. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-impact initiatives by partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders. You will help translate complex business needs into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions while leading Agile Scrum practices to support strategic payments and technology modernization efforts across the firm.
This candidate will guide and support cross-functional technology teams delivering complex business and payment processing initiatives. This role is responsible for driving Agile practices, facilitating sprint planning and execution, removing delivery impediments, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring adherence to SDLC, governance, security, and compliance standards. The successful candidate will partner closely with Product Owners, development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to maintain prioritized backlogs, coordinate testing and release activities, support automation initiatives, and deliver high-quality solutions. This position requires a collaborative leader who can foster high-performing teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure successful end-to-end delivery of strategic technology capabilities.

In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
- Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
- Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
- Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
- Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems
- Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform in a dynamic, complex environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge and understanding of technology operations
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Strong communication skills with ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical partners
- Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment
- Banking or Financial Services experience
- Prior experience of payment contract mapping
