Production Operator

As a Production Operator you will control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. This role is day shift in North PA.

1.   Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Compound as required by production demand by following shop floor precisely as instructed to do so by shop floor papers.

• Responsible for safe operation of fork lift and all material handling equipment within the work area.

• Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.

• Maintain processing area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and presentable condition; adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and exemplary housekeeping standards.

• Ability and willingness to work as part of a team to solve problems, develop procedures, and recommend improvements.

• Perform other duties as assigned , Including other departments as needed.  

2.      What Makes You the Right Fit”

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Ability to wear respirator

• Ability to operate forklift and other equipment

• Ability to be exposed to heavy machinery and electrical currents

• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day

• Ability to handle 200 kg drums and 50 kg bags

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Basic math, reading and computer skills

• SAP, Camelot and Marco experience

• Ability to multi-task

• English fluence
