The Difference You Make:
The Associate Credit Risk Quality Control position operates within the CIB First Line of Defense to develop, manage and execute the CIB Credit Risk Management Quality Control (Credit QC) programs. The Associate position will be responsible for ensuring the loan portfolio is underwritten consistent with industry practices and conforms to all internal credit standards and procedures and all regulatory expectations.  The Associate will partner with the CIB Credit Professionals, Credit Risk Managers and CIB Issues Management on issues management and remediation.

The position provides independent challenge to business and credit teams, identifies credit and control weaknesses and supports remediation efforts to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years Experience in Credit Management, Internal Controls, Auditing, Risk Management or other relevant line of business - Required.

• Demonstrated experience executing risk projects across multiple business lines offering a wide variety of financial services products and services.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document findings and present conclusions to senior management.
• Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment and how the risks of the products and services the bank offers are viewed by the Second Line of Defense and regulators.
• Demonstrated judgement in escalation, ensuring risk-based clear line of sight for senior executives into existing and emerging issues/incidents.
• Ability to constructively work both independently and in collaborative environments involving all levels of management and employees.

• Strong analytical skills and proficient with financial statements.

• Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills.  High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external service providers to establish resource requirements, scheduling, assignments and service levels.

• Demonstrated practical and conceptual knowledge of credit and risk analysis.
• Solid knowledge of credit agreements and related legal documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in use of Artificial Intelligence tools

Certifications:

• Other: Completion of bank-certified course in Credit Training - Preferred.

• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$145,000.00 USD$175,000.00 USD
