Purpose:

The Senior Student Associate, Big Screens Design & Editing will contribute to the creation and editing of digital still / motion graphics and video content for Texas Studios In-Venue shows at Texas Athletic events, in addition to assisting with other control room duties on non-event days.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Texas Athletics In-Venue production staff to elevate and design content for in-venue shows
  • Edit and create video content using Adobe Premiere Pro to be used within Texas Athletics In-Venue shows
  • Edit still and motion graphics content within Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D to be used within Texas Athletics In-Venue shows 
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines from production staff to accomplish projects quickly
  • Load-in and build out athletics in-venue shows within live production software and collaborate on operation of hardware during live shows
  • Collaborate on content day shoots with Sony camera hardware, and generate ideas to capture content with Texas student-athletes
  •  Assist in other duties as needed

Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, and After Effects
  • Basic knowledge of sports procedures and production
  • Basic knowledge of Sony camera equipment
  • Ability to collaborate with other and follow instructions
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary Range:

  • $10/hour + based in relevant experience

Working Conditions:

  • May work around standard office conditions
  • Use of manual dexterity
  • Climbing of stairs
  • Climbing of ladders
  • Some heavy lifting may be required

Work Shift:

  • Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 (rehire eligible based on performance)
  • Work will be performed in-person, on campus
  • May work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
