About the Opportunity
Upward On is partnering with a boutique real estate brokerage and marketing firm representing residential and new development projects throughout the New York City tri-state area. We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to oversee the company’s listings, digital presence, marketing initiatives, and brand.
This role goes well beyond posting content. The Marketing Manager will take ownership of the company’s online presence and proactively identify anything that could negatively affect its listings, lead generation, reputation, or brand.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, creative, and comfortable managing both strategy and day-to-day execution. This person should understand how effective marketing directly supports leasing velocity, agent success, client relationships, and business growth.

Role and Responsibilities
Listing Management
- Manage the company’s brokerage and exclusive listings on StreetEasy and other relevant real estate platforms.
- Ensure all listings are accurate, complete, current, and compliant with platform requirements.
- Review pricing, availability, concessions, square footage, amenities, photography, floor plans, and listing descriptions.
- Update or remove listings promptly when units are rented, deposited, withdrawn, or otherwise unavailable.
- Coordinate with agents and operations to confirm unit availability before publishing or updating listings.
- Monitor listing views, leads, saves, inquiries, and showing requests.
- Identify underperforming listings and recommend adjustments to pricing, photography, copy, positioning, or marketing strategy.
- Monitor competing listings and comparable properties to ensure the company’s listings remain well positioned.
New Development Marketing
- Develop and manage marketing strategies for new development leasing assignments.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive marketing plan for each development.
- Coordinate building launches and ensure consistent branding across every platform.
- Manage the production and organization of photography, renderings, floor plans, property websites, brochures, signage, virtual tours, digital advertising, and social media content.
- Track traffic, inquiries, leads, and leasing performance by building.
- Provide ownership with clear, data-driven recommendations regarding marketing, pricing, positioning, and campaign adjustments.
Content and Social Media
- Develop and manage the company’s marketing and social media calendars.
- Plan and execute content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Create content highlighting listings, new developments, closed transactions, agent accomplishments, client testimonials, neighborhoods, market updates, and company news.
- Ensure all marketing materials are professional, accurate, engaging, and consistent with the company’s brand.
- Maintain an organized library of approved templates, photography, videos, floor plans, and other marketing assets.
Agent Marketing Support
- Provide agents with approved marketing templates, materials, and resources.
- Help agents effectively market listings, transactions, and business-development initiatives.
- Create social media and digital marketing assets for agents when appropriate.
- Train agents on marketing best practices and reinforce company branding and listing standards.
- Review agent-created materials when necessary to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
Website and Digital Presence
- Maintain the brokerage website and ensure that listings, developments, team profiles, services, and company information remain current.
- Monitor website functionality and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
- Review website analytics and identify opportunities to increase traffic, engagement, inquiries, and conversions.
- Maintain the company’s Google Business Profile and other key online profiles.
- Monitor local SEO and ensure the company’s contact information is consistent across digital platforms.
Reputation Management
- Monitor Google, StreetEasy, Yelp, Zillow, and other platforms for new client reviews.
- Respond to reviews promptly, professionally, and in a consistent company voice.
- Escalate serious complaints or sensitive issues to management when appropriate.
- Track recurring feedback and identify operational or service issues that should be addressed.
- Develop a consistent process for requesting reviews from satisfied clients following successful transactions.
Lead Generation and Advertising
- Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, real estate platforms, and relevant publications.
- Track advertising spend, lead volume, lead quality, and cost per lead.
- Test messaging, creative, audiences, and campaign strategies to improve results.
- Recommend how marketing resources should be allocated based on measurable performance.
Reporting and Organization
- Maintain a centralized marketing calendar covering listing launches, price changes, open houses, development launches, social media, email campaigns, advertising, events, announcements, and important deadlines.
- Prepare monthly reports covering listing performance, website traffic, social media growth and engagement, lead sources, advertising performance, online reviews, and campaign results.
- Identify successful and underperforming initiatives and recommend clear next steps.
- Provide management with a concise weekly update outlining current priorities, performance trends, upcoming launches, and any listings or campaigns requiring attention.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in real estate marketing, preferably within a residential brokerage, new development marketing firm, property owner, or related organization. This is not a must, but a nice to have.
- Strong working knowledge of StreetEasy and real estate listing management.
- Experience developing and executing social media, digital marketing, and content strategies.
- Understanding of new development marketing, residential leasing, and the relationship between marketing activity and leasing performance.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual judgment.
- Experience coordinating photography, videography, floor plans, renderings, websites, brochures, and digital assets.
- Familiarity with website content management, analytics, local SEO, and digital advertising.
- Able to interpret marketing data and translate it into practical recommendations.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple listings, projects, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable working closely with agents, operations teams, developers, property owners, and senior leadership.
- Able to balance creative thinking with consistent execution and measurable results.

Compensation
The base salary for this position is $75,000–$80,000, depending on experience.
