RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute seasonal visual directives in line with principal guidelines, while adapting them to local market needs
- Coordinate VM activities, including store visits, window displays, Permit-to-Work (PTW) applications, installations and database maintenance
- Monitor execution quality across stores through photo reviews, memos and regular evaluations
- Create planograms and display layouts in Displayer where required
- Support business goals by using impactful VM strategies to improve store presentation, customer engagement, traffic and conversion
- Maintain high standards in store environment elements such as music, scent and plants
- Identify and source vendors for production needs where necessary
- Benchmark competitors, identify best practices and share actionable insights with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure all VM executions and communications reflect CHARLES & KEITH brand identity, values, and presentation standards
- Lead, guide and support the local Visual Merchandising (VM) team to ensure consistent execution of brand standards, operational priorities and store presentation guidelines across all stores
- Coach, train and develop the VM team by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback and supporting individual capability growth
- Assign responsibilities, monitor follow-through, and support workload planning to ensure timely completion of VM activities and project deliverables
- Provide constructive performance input and escalate recurring execution or capability gaps to the appropriate manager where required
- Serve as a brand ambassador by demonstrating visual excellence, professionalism and enthusiasm across all initiatives
GENERAL
- Work collaboratively and proactively to support the brand’s broader strategic and execution goals
- Build strong familiarity with CHARLES & KEITH stores, products, customer experience and market positioning
- Apply CHARLES & KEITH VM guidelines consistently across store displays, customer-facing touchpoints and day-to-day execution
- Adhere to company policies, workflow procedures and operational directives
- Perform visual display changes that may involve physical tasks; the role can be physically demanding
- Work off-hours, weekends or public holidays when required due to nature of the scope, depending on retail schedules and store execution needs
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Styling, Retail Management or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant visual merchandising experience, preferably with hands-on team coordination or people management responsibilities
- Prior experience in visual merchandising, store planning, retail execution or a related function is strongly preferred
- Experience supporting team development through onboarding, skills training, feedback sessions and performance improvement follow-ups
- Strong people management, communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate team members and support consistent store execution
- Able to set clear team objectives, delegate tasks effectively, follow up on progress and hold team members accountable in a fair and constructive manner
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with store teams, regional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align priorities and resolve execution challenges
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects with tight timelines
- Confident in leading with initiative, making sound decisions, coaching others, and setting high-quality standards for store execution
