With over 300 employees operating across Australia, Africa, North America, Latin America and Indonesia we are seeking an experienced Head of People to lead our people function from our Perth Head Office.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of People will lead initiatives that support business performance, organisational growth and employee engagement across multiple regions.

The role combines strategic leadership with practical execution and is suited to an experienced HR leader who is comfortable operating at both executive and operational levels.

As a genuinely global role, the position requires regular engagement with leaders and employees across multiple regions and time zones. The successful candidate will be comfortable working flexibly to support international stakeholders and will be willing to undertake occasional international travel.

You will lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with employment legislation across international jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead and enhance people, talent and workforce initiatives that support business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and employees across multiple countries through regular engagement, periodic site visits and international collaboration.
• Lead and develop a globally dispersed team of HR Business Partners.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and reporting.
• Monitor people metrics and provide insights to support business decision-making.

Talent & Workforce Planning

• Lead global recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
• Develop programs to attract, retain and develop high-performing employees.
• Oversee talent reviews and leadership development initiatives.
• Support workforce planning across technical, professional and manufacturing employee groups.

Employee Relations & Compliance

• Lead compliance with employment laws and regulations across multiple countries.
• Lead complex employee relations matters and organisational change programs.
• Manage employment policies, contracts and governance frameworks.
• Oversee remuneration, performance management and employee engagement processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
• HR leadership experience, including partnering with executive leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, with the ability to research solutions under international labour laws (supported by local HR Business Partners).
• Strong workforce planning and change management capability.
• Experience managing remuneration, performance and talent frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• A pragmatic, commercially focused and solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability and willingness to work flexibly across varying time zones when required and undertake occasional international travel.
